Before earning a Fine Arts degree in Sculpture and Art History, and a Master’s degree in Architecture, Sarah Beth Goncarova (b. 1980) trained as a pianist and worked for the theater making puppets and designing  costumes and scenery. Her paintings, sculptures and installations are featured frequently in exhibitions, and her work is much sought after by public and private collectors across the US and abroad. She has has had two monographs of her artwork published to date, and has collaborated on the writing, design and illustration for several books.  She lives in New Haven, Connecticut.
